You must have seen many beautiful waterfalls and rivers and have heard many interesting facts about them. But you won't believe that there are some waterfalls and rivers around the world with boiling water. Quite interesting, isn't it? And the temperature of water is so high that it can burn you to death. Some has tolerable temperatures that people enjoy bathing in it. Here are the 5 waterfalls and rivers with boiling water.

There is river in Amazon basin in South America with boiling water.

The creepy fact is that the temperature of water is so high that anyone can die of it. This river is 6.4 km long, 82 feet wide and 20 feet deep. The interesting thing about this river is that it was founded in 2011 by a PhD student called Andres Ruzo when he got curious to find such a river after his grandfather told him about it. He has written a book on this river.

When Andres Ruzo was on his journey to find this river, an academician told him that there is no such river. Academician used to believe that such a river doesn't exist as there was no active volcano in the zone. But Andres Ruzo proved the reason behind the boiling water in his book. There is much folklore in Peru about this river.

When Andres Ruzo heard about such a river, he didn't believe it. He is studying Geo-Physics in Southern Methodist University. He told that the temperature of water is so high that you can prepare a tea by it. And if you touch it, then you'll feel burns.

Natron Lake, Tanzania

This lake looks bloody red and different shades of orange, red and pink color can be seen in different times. It is because of the bacteria which are present in the lake. You'll be shocked to know but this lake is extremely dangerous. The temperature rises suddenly and reaches up to 60 degree Celsius. People are not suggested to come here but many people visit this lake to see its unusual features.

Waimangu Lake, New Zealand

It is the hottest lake of the world with a temperature of 50-60 degree Celsius. The water always is in boiling state and steams rises from it. This lake is very dangerous for the visitors that it can burn you to death. Vapors of carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide are present on its surface. This lake was the result of 1886 Volcano. It is spread in an area of 38 thousand sq. ft. and it is 6 m deep. It is situated in the Waimangu valley. It is also known as 'world's largest geyser'.

Boiling Lake

This lake is situated in Dominica, Caribbean Island. The temperature on outer banks of the lake remains 180 to 197 degree Farhenite. And the water in the middle keeps on boiling. The reason behind is the crack in the lake which allows the inner lava to flow at a high speed which results in the hot water.

Manikarna, Himachal Pradesh

There are many small hot water waterfalls. People believe that bathing form this water removes all the skin diseases and many other as well. Sulphur is believed to be the reason behind its hot water. Vyas river is situated near these waterfalls whose water is extremely cold.
